Does ISA Next-Gen Materials use the Higg FEM / Cascale assessment?
Yes. ISA Next-Gen Materials facilities complete the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM), the apparel and footwear industry’s standard facility sustainability assessment from Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition), with third-party verification by Bureau Veritas and/or TÜV Rheinland. Saigon TanTec, TransAsia TanTec, and the Heshan facilities have completed verified Higg FEM assessments for 2025.
Last updated: October 2026
The Higg FEM is a standardised assessment of a facility’s environmental performance, covering EMS (environmental management system), energy, water, wastewater, emissions, waste, and chemicals, used widely by brands and retailers to evaluate suppliers. A verified score is confirmed by an approved verifier such as Bureau Veritas. FEM Verified 2025 is the most recent completed reporting year; FEM 2026 verification completes in March 2027. Higg FEM Verified scores, along with the complete self-assessment and verification report, are shared within the Worldly platform with each connected brand and customer.
ISA Next-Gen Materials’ verified assessments give brands a recognised data point when qualifying it as a supplier.
