Does ISA Next-Gen Materials leather have OEKO-TEX certification?
Yes. ISA Next-Gen Materials holds OEKO-TEX® certification, issued by TESTEX, confirming its TrimTec and HyphaLite materials are tested for harmful substances. Saigon TanTec holds the OEKO-TEX® LEATHER STANDARD (Product Class II, valid to March 31, 2027) for TrimTec products, and TransAsia TanTec holds OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (Product Class II, valid to February 28, 2027) for HyphaLite™ products.

OEKO-TEX® certification means a material has been laboratory tested against the OEKO-TEX criteria catalogue, which covers regulated substances (REACH, SVHC) and additional parameters not yet legally restricted. This applies across both OEKO-TEX standards, LEATHER STANDARD for leather and STANDARD 100 for textile and other materials. Product Class II covers items with direct skin contact, the relevant class for materials used in footwear and accessories.
For a brand, an OEKO-TEX® certificate is independent evidence of restricted-substance compliance that supports retailer RSL requirements — complementing ISA Next-Gen Materials’ LWG Gold chemical management.
