Where does ISA Next-Gen Materials manufacture, and how do its tanneries follow the LITE process?
ISA Next-Gen Materials operates four LWG Gold-rated manufacturing facilities, Mississippi TanTec (USA), Saigon TanTec and TransAsia TanTec (Vietnam), and Heshan Bestway (China), with combined capacity of roughly 12 million square feet per month. Every site integrates the LITE™ (Low Impact To the Environment) manufacturing concept to minimize water, energy, and chemical use.

The manufacturing facilities are positioned close to customers’ footwear factories in Asia and the Americas to shorten lead times and ship consistent product. Mississippi TanTec produces Made-in-USA, Berry-compliant leather; the two Vietnam sites and the China site handle high-volume tanning and finishing.
Each site runs the same LITE™ systems: engineered constructed wetlands that treat wastewater before discharge, rainwater collection, solar thermal heating for process hot water, natural-light production floors, slow-spinning drums, and direct roller-coat finishing that applies chemicals directly to the leather instead of spraying them.
Because every manufacturing facility follows the same centralized formulations and LITE™ protocol, ISA Next-Gen Materials delivers consistent leather chemistry and documented water and energy savings— the basis of the per-article LITE™ Index.
