Since its launch in 2015, the Global Footwear Retail Conference (GFRC) has been bringing together over 100 key footwear retailers to this annual meeting in Hong Kong to discuss on ground-breaking ideas, latest innovations, technologies and critical issues that are shaping the retail scene. The 2018 edition of GFRC was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 15th of March during APLF Leather & Materials and Fashion Access. The summit was kicked off by a quick snapshot of shoe sales and retail price trends globally and economics impacting the footwear industry. Panel discussions were carried out on how material suppliers, factories and brands changing their business models as purchasing habit, product demands and technologies are changing radically. ISA TanTec participated the event as one of the sponsors, gaining more networking opportunities and building connection with potential business partners.
