ISA TanTec keeps committing itself to maintain excellence and achieves higher requirements in benchmarking environmental compliances. ISA TanTec is proud to announce that Mississippi TanTec (MTL) has undergone the Leather Working Group (LWG) audit protocol and has been certified as a gold-rated tannery. MTL is strategically located in the USA, sitting close to where most of its customers are headquartered.

“We did not slow down on investing in sustainable projects even during the toughest time of the Covid-19 outbreak and we are thrilled to see our efforts paid off, having TTL scored as LWG gold last year, and now MTL has also reached the same standard,” said Uwe Hutzler, ISA TanTec’s Chief Executive Officer.

All four of ISA tanneries are rated as LWG gold now, making a significant milestone for the group.
