ISA Supports Melina Bucher with the 100% Biobased HyphaLite™ Donation for the School of Design of Pforzheim University Collaboration
ISA Next-Gen Materials ("ISA"), the leading manufacturer of sustainable leather and additional materials, is proud to support Melina Bucher, the founder of Melina Bucher, who acts as a bridge between sustainable material innovators and academic education, on her new collaboration with the School of Design of the Pforzheim University. ISA donated its 100% biobased and biodegradable HyphaLite™ material to the student project which enables young talents to experiment with biobased materials in making sustainable accessory designs.

This fascinating opportunity introduces future designers to the potential of biobased materials and learn how to integrate them into their work. As a result, it will help them make informed choices throughout their careers and enable them to advocate for sustainable practices within the industry. The final works will be presented at the end of the semester at the university’s “Werkschau” exhibition and the next GROW exhibition at ILM Offenbach.
