ISA TanTec’s  Senior Director Strategies Carl Flach has been confirmed by the Leather Naturally membership as a new member of the Supervisory Council.

“I am honored to be chosen as a member of the supervisory council of Leather Naturally. Leather Naturally is every day getting stronger within the leather industry and its stakeholders. We now need to bring out the message to the designers of the brands and the customers in the street that leather is a durable, sustainable & beautiful material. Leather is, when produced within the best available technologies, a valuable material in terms of waste management from other industries and an elegant and much better environmental alternative than petrochemical based products that aim to imitate the look of leather,” said Carl Flach.

Leather Naturally is a not-for-profit industry members association that focuses on education and the promotion of leather. It promotes the use of globally manufactured sustainable leather and seeks to inspire and inform designers, creators, and consumers about leather’s beauty, quality and versatility. By joining the supervisory council, with the joint effort of Leather Naturally, ISA TanTec commits to continuously promote the use of sustainable leather.
